Burden Of Truth

lyrics

Staring into the sky asking far too many questions,
Oh dear God, why? Oh why?
You lost control, we abandoned soul and became a clockwork material institute,
Sick to fucking death of all these constant illusions when the truth is right there.
I'll only sleep when I see the light shatter the shadows,
When the sun melts the masks away.

Prove this indication is a massive irrelevant lie,
I'll keep looking at the stars, into space,
To the heavens with these tears in my eyes.
Play dead, conquer, divide.
I shall be my sovereign self in this masquerade of hate,
Be the diamond in the minefield.

'Cause you've seen it all, but you still cant see it.
My life is a cross between dreaming and coping.
So you've seen it all, but you still keep sleeping.
My life is cross between breathing and hoping.

Chaos is the catalyst that creates this cosmos,
That's were your crisis is spent.
Admit defeat, grow frail and weak and bow to the master that deceives you in the mirror.
Infection, disease, polluted seas,
The twisted media pukes lies into our ears.
We feed on this filth, and we breathe chemical skies,
It's a blood red horizon.
Don't resist 'cause that makes you a terrorist.
Obsessed with money, addicted to power,
And they preach there is no God like they are God themselves.

Only in the night do we ever feel this cold,
But in broad daylight, we're just getting older,
Remind yourself to take another picture,
'Cause the ways we knew will soon be gone.
We're too disturbed to preserve the peace or even care.
I'm sorry in advance.
